God was unsure about how he should start his school project. He had chosen to build a "Universe". How could anyone be so stupid to think this is possible? Especially now that he was young and all he wanted to do is to hang out & chill.

He had already reflected for a time that felt like infinity just about how to start. He had already felt anxious about being called inappropriate by someone because of his universe's beginning with a black background. He chose it because God wanted to be sustainable and save energy on screens. He had already felt incredibly uncomfortable about being a male in the first chapter even though his mom was a female and the title of the story was worded gender-neutral. What if being a male would put him in such a privileged spot that some may consider him as irrelevant no matter how great his Universe would be? He just couldn't shift the cost-benefit-ratio of this undertake to anything close to what he could consider bearable.

As God was engaging in a ping-pong game between procrastination and the idea that procrastination does not exist without time and time has not been created in his universe, he remembered that his mom once read this book called atomic habits. He had obviously found any attempt to optimize his own efficiency fundamentally absurd, because, again, time did not exist in his universe yet. But said to himself:

"Why not create something infinitesimally small?"
​
So he decided to start his venture with a point. A simple, tiny, little dot in the nothing. As his point was infinitesimally small, it felt like the effort to create the point was also almost infinitesimally small.
​
God felt smart as he had found a way to create something with zero effort.

Tonight, unfortunately, was one of the nights he had to have dinner with his mom. He knew exactly that she would ask about the status of his project.
Usually, he would be frightened.

But this time it was different. He knew he had taken her advice and that had take the first step. She must be at least a little proud of him this time.
